A home to reflect His glory

 The Lord has been so good to us in giving our family a home.


Back in 2019, when my husband and I got married, we rented a small two-bedroom house and began praying for a place of our own. Two years later, the Lord graciously provided for us to start building. We always envisioned a home that was cozy and practical for our daily routines, with children in mind. More than that, we longed for it to be a constant reflection of God’s grace and goodness.


My husband worked diligently—from planning and designing to overseeing every detail of construction. Then, in 2023, the Lord granted exactly what we had dreamed of. He has been so kind to bless us with a home where we can raise our children. Every time I look at it, I see His gracious hand. Without Him, none of this would have been possible.


One of my favorite parts of our house is our little library. It holds our study books, piano, play area, and homeschooling corner. I especially love that from the kitchen I can see into the library, allowing me to oversee the children while cooking. I thank the Lord for the wisdom He gave us in planning this space — it truly serves our family well.


As a homemaker, I count it a joy to serve Him by making this house a true home — not only for our children, but ultimately for His glory. I am excited to create memories with my little family here and to glorify the Lord more and more.

It’s been a while since I posted something here, and today, I’d like to share a very short yet loving message I heard from my eldest daughter that truly uplifted my spirit as a mother and homemaker. Fridays are always the busiest day for me. It’s the day I schedule all the household cleaning—on top of homeschooling, cooking, and taking care of the girls. Homeschooling journey is about to start!

When my husband and I began thinking about starting a family, we earnestly prayed for wisdom regarding how we would educate our future children. Given the growing influence of secular values in education, we never imagined entrusting our children to that system. But the Lord revealed to us a different and uncommon path—homeschooling, centered on godliness. Homeschooling was entirely new to me, but God, in His grace, surrounded me with godly Christians who offered insights, encouragement, and even helpful materials to support our homeschooling journey. Today, my eldest daughter is four years old, and I’ve been homeschooling her for several years now. As she turns five this year and begins formal schooling, I’m incredibly grateful to the Lord for leading us to a Christian homeschool provider—the Philippine Christian School of Tomorrow. Growing in His Word

I am so thankful for God’s grace poured out through our Bible education at church. I am learning so much and being deeply challenged in my walk with the Lord. The men in our church are faithfully sharing the Word of God, and it’s evident that the Lord is using them mightily. We are currently studying the books of Judges, Zechariah, Proverbs, and Habakkuk—books that are not often preached in many churches today. I’m especially grateful that we get to praise God and grow in our knowledge of who He is through these often-overlooked portions of Scripture. Our church also offers courses through the Bible Institute, such as Old and New Testament Surveys. The more we learn, the more we are stirred to live like Christ—and the more we feel the burden and joy of sharing the grace of the Lord with others.
