Schooling at Home

Thankful to God for His enabling grace that allows me to teach my girls right here at home. He gives me strength and patience to care for them each day. I must say, it’s not the same every day. There are days when it feels tiring and frustrating. There are days when they don’t seem eager to learn. But there are also times when they’re happy, excited, and ready to take in everything. Through it all, His grace remains the same—it’s OVERFLOWING. Praising Him for who He is and all that He does! His tender mercies are over all his works

It is amazing how God created the world. Even in its cursed state, I can still see the beauty of His handiwork. How much more glorious will the redeemed world be! From the vast skies above to the depths of the seas, from the tallest trees to the smallest creatures in the animal kingdom—God is revealed. This has been my realization this week as I taught my homeschooler about one of God's most fascinating creations: insects! They are so small and unique, yet they serve a very important purpose in God’s plan. God even used them as instruments of judgment against Egypt before the Passover—gnats, flies, and locusts. The Bible also mentions bees, caterpillars, fleas, beetles, grasshoppers, hornets, lice, spiders, and ants! My girls are so fascinated by these little creatures. They especially love reading the  Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends book series, which highlights values about family. I thank the Lord that they love to read and explore through books.
