Flying a kite with the kids!
It was such a joyful afternoon for our family yesterday! We finally had the chance to fly a kite in the windy weather. The past few weeks had been so rainy that we could barely go outside, so I’m truly thankful we were able to enjoy the outdoors again and appreciate God’s creation. My husband came along and took care of everything kite-related. He taught the girls how to hold the kite and get it flying. It was a wonderful moment for all of us as we watched it soar high in the sky. The girls were so amazed! It was also a meaningful experience for my eldest, who’s currently learning about God’s creation—specifically the sky and the wind. We even spotted a small, beautiful flower. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it looked so pretty! Here’s a photo of it: I’m so grateful for this special afternoon of bonding, especially since a storm is forecasted in the coming days.
