Prayers are heard and answered!

 I am thankful that these books came for my eldest daughter. 

She loves to read—especially books with great pictures. It has always been my personal prayer to have children who love reading. God has given us a book to read, and that’s why I believe it’s foundational to teach our kids how to read. The Lord is so good and gracious—He answered my prayer! My girls never let a day pass without asking me to read to them.

It’s such a special time for us, sitting together and grabbing as many books as their tiny hands can hold, spending time just reading and reading.

As summer approaches, I thought it would be fun to buy new books for Jochebed and make finishing them more exciting. I purchased a set of books online, and they arrived right on time. I printed a bingo card with each book title in a box. After reading a book, Jochebed gets to cross it out. Once she’s finished them all, she’ll receive a special gift!


She’s been doing it faithfully and she loves the stories. The books showcase respect, love, and obedience. The pictures are so good, too! Each book has 30-31pages and are easy to read. Jochebed is just 4 years old but she can manage to read them.

I am so thankful that the Lord answers prayers and I am excited to witness more prayers to be answered as I come to Him through Jesus Christ. 

 The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. - Proverbs 15:29

Homeschooling journey is about to start!

When my husband and I began thinking about starting a family, we earnestly prayed for wisdom regarding how we would educate our future children. Given the growing influence of secular values in education, we never imagined entrusting our children to that system. But the Lord revealed to us a different and uncommon path—homeschooling, centered on godliness. Homeschooling was entirely new to me, but God, in His grace, surrounded me with godly Christians who offered insights, encouragement, and even helpful materials to support our homeschooling journey. Today, my eldest daughter is four years old, and I’ve been homeschooling her for several years now. As she turns five this year and begins formal schooling, I’m incredibly grateful to the Lord for leading us to a Christian homeschool provider—the Philippine Christian School of Tomorrow. Growing in His Word

I am so thankful for God’s grace poured out through our Bible education at church. I am learning so much and being deeply challenged in my walk with the Lord. The men in our church are faithfully sharing the Word of God, and it’s evident that the Lord is using them mightily. We are currently studying the books of Judges, Zechariah, Proverbs, and Habakkuk—books that are not often preached in many churches today. I’m especially grateful that we get to praise God and grow in our knowledge of who He is through these often-overlooked portions of Scripture. Our church also offers courses through the Bible Institute, such as Old and New Testament Surveys. The more we learn, the more we are stirred to live like Christ—and the more we feel the burden and joy of sharing the grace of the Lord with others.
